Step1

Begin by preparing a list of "successful top ranking" webpages by using "Suggest Competitors" feature of Keyword Country.

• Type in a keyword where you wish to rank. Keyword Country will quickly show a list of competing pages doing good on Google, Yahoo, MSN.
• Press 'Add' against all those competing pages whose keyword list you wish to analyze.
• Press Analyze button

Keyword Country will come back with"Which keywords are common between top PPC Advertisers"Like in this screenshot all our competitors have taken great care to optimize their pages for 'home equity, credit cards, personal loans' and few more.

Step3

Click on any competitor on the left and discover the keyword list they have used in their landing pages along with the HTML tags in which the keywords were used. This helps you understand the keywords your competitors are emphasizing on bulding quality score.

Step4

Open the 'Webpage tab' and get a feel of the landing pages of your competitors, and jump to the portions of his webpage where he has used his keywords.

Study its structure and strategies it has applied to make his PPC campaign a success. Get inspired from his bidding strategies that he has optimized after years of research.

Step5

Click the 'Comparison' tab to stack one competitor over the other. Gain clarity on 'which competitor' possesses 'what set of keywords' which other doesn't has

Step6

Use Trends Tab to know countries which account for maximum traffic to your competitor. Or the seasons when the competitor faces slump, how healthy traffic do your competitors fetch in comparison to each other & yourself.
