What other tools are missing?
No. of Advertisers
Google Adwords is full of BOGUS HIGH PAYING
KEYWORDS. There are many keywords in Google Adwords system that have high CPC
like $50+ but no advertisers bidding on them. Obviously, no one is going to pay
you like $15 or $50 if there are no advertisers bidding on a keyword.
These are the number of Advertisers bidding on the keyword. This is the most
important figure that you need while choosing keywords for Adsense which all
other tools are missing. Also,
more are the number of advertisers, more Affiliate programs you can find in that
industry too.
Average CPC
Average CPC adds to your power of judging high paying keywords. Average CPC is actually the average of what ALL THE ADVERTISERS bidding on a given keyword. Most of the tools available in the market give you a misleading Avg CPC. Their figures are misleading because they only take the average of the top 3 to 8 positions. This is absolutely wrong. Suppose there are 400 advertisers. The top 20 or 50 pay something like $15 per click, while the rest of them pay as low as $2 to $0.05. In such a case the tools that just pick the top 3-8, advertisers, completely ignoring the rest all the sponsors who pay quite less, befool you.
They befool you by certifying some fake keywords as Good Keywords. Now if you pick the keywords that these tool project as the high paying ones, you will be at loss. There is a high probability that you will get the ads of those ignored 380 sponsors.
However, with Keyword Country, you don’t have to worry about such misleading data, because its Average CPC is average of all the 400 Advertisers bidding on a keyword and lets you predict how much EPC (earnings per click) to expect at the end.
Competition
There is a general
trend of counting the number of results returned by the search engines like
google as the number of pages that are competing against you. This is the
greatest mistake one can make while counting competition. Well, Search engines
also show irrelevant results. Goto the 10th or 15th page of the search result
and you will see irrelevant results and irrelevancy increases with the depth.
Obviously a webmaster who has used your keyword once or twice in his webpage or
just dumped it in the corner of the page is not competing against you but search
engine will still list them.
A true competitor fighting for a keyword will include that keyword in its title
text and try to get links on that page with the same keyword as anchor text. And
KeywordCountry shows you exactly the number of pages that are using these
keywords in their titles and anchor text. This is called inanchor intitle
formula and is regarded as the most precise formula ever devised to measure
competition.
